People who want to adopt a baby are usually willing to pay for prenatal care and hospital bills, etc.
Problem is that I personally know people who have been screwed over bc laws allow birth mother to change her mind and keep baby.

I have done some research on birth control.
The catholic church has done its best to roadblock access to birth control and making the pill accessible to women.

I know people who have 2nd mortgaged their house to pay for adoption fees.
That money could be better spent on raising the child.
Adoptive parents aren't always wealthy, they just want a child to love and raise as their own, to be a part of their family.
