Years ago the spit of land off in the distance had the remains of an old life saving station.

The is where we used to camp when I was a young teen.

3 mile walk to the ferry dock.

In junior year of highschool we spent April vacation out there.

This Island is to the Sou’west of Martha’s Vineyard.

Cuttyhunk is a cold dreary place in April and the ferry only came once a week.

We had the time of our lives.

Summers there were like heaven.

Kids today have nary a clue.

My grandkids spend their day being kids.

Yeah, different times, simpler times.

Every generation says the same thing.

I’d not want to be raising kids today.

IMO it really started going to shit in the late 80’s, most certainly the 90’s.

As far as kids being kids goes anyway.
