Anons is it usual to have 4 posts totally removed in a thread? I posted 4 different times this am,

don’t know or care if they were notable, but I went back and every single one was removed.

Once I post I take screenshots so I have the number and time and these are the ones removed.

>>6527792

See the screenshots with missing numbered post

Does this happen often or ever? Really strange.

Baker got any ideas how this could happen? It seems in the past that if posts are removed it’s announced....I might wrong about that. Any answers would be welcome

Artificial Intelligence in the News, some of these articles seem like, scientists are trying to duplicate Humans. Why? Musk is right AI development is a real danger to Humanity

New AI sees like a human, filling in the blanks

Date: May 15, 2019

Source: University of Texas at Austin

Summary:

Computer scientists have taught an artificial intelligence agent how to do something that usually only humans can do – take a few quick glimpses around and infer its whole environment, a skill necessary for the development of effective search-and-rescue robots that one day can improve the effectiveness of dangerous missions.

Step towards light-based, brain-like computing chip

Date: May 8, 2019

Source: University of Münster

Summary:

Scientists have succeeded in developing a piece of hardware which could pave the way for creating computers resembling the human brain. They produced a chip containing a network of artificial neurons that works with light and can imitate neurons and their synapses. This network is able to 'learn' information and use this as a basis for computing. The approach could be used later in many different fields for evaluating patterns in large quantities of data.

Elon Musk says we need to regulate AI before it becomes a danger to humanity

Elon Musk’s thoughts on artificial intelligence are pretty well known at this point. He famously compared work on AI to “summoning the demon,” and has warned time and time again that the technology poses an existential risk to humanity. At a gathering of US governors this weekend, he repeated these sentiments, but also stressed something he says is even more important: that governments need to start regulating AI now.

Thanks for all your answers (except the ahole that had to make nasty accusations), the last response was right, for some reason I posted on and they ended up on Wilcox thread. I don’t look at, the Wilcox thread, so I made the mistake of hitting it and kept posting. Thank you for your kind responses. My apologies
