it is almost humorous how naive the concern is over water flowing through a gorge at a rapid rate. If the California overlords were not such water-horders, maybe Californians would understand that water rushing through a gorge is a natural occurance.

It's far more natural than hording all the water so that people can be controlled by claiming that there isn't enough of it, meanwhile letting companyies like Nessttle (in like a tick in your neck) sell it at drinking water without having to pay for it.

California is run with a depravation mentality.

You need to learn to live off the water, like Cajuns, and be self reliant.

wet when it rains is normal!

Urban planners should be let loose.

if we will spend so much to fix the everglades, why not, as well, the LA flood plane with water ferries, and a Miami design, with canals, and very very many people living in piers above the water, appartments in house boats, and a lot of fresh water fish being farmed.

the transformation would effect them all.

They would give up the junkie life to participate in the new world that it would be.

they would renew as the spirit of change spreads across the river delta.

The problems are separate.

We can solve both of them.

Making it a freshwater farm area would give the locals a lot of opportunity.

If the food that they eat is in the water

they will be much less inclined to fowl it.

we can solve both problems.
