Dude, you don't get it, there are MILLIONS pf people downstream right now. Think evacuating southern florida and how long that takes. That area has rain coming, a lot of it. The inflow NOW is 17K Cubic feet per second. Water Authorities can, right now, only spill out less than 10K. So the math.
