A new proposed rule that the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued earlier this week to enforce existing law requiring those who receive public housing to be U.S. citizens gained the ire of Democrats, including Barack Obama’s former Labor Secretary Hilda Solis.

Solis, who is now on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, tweeted on Thursday support for 12 House members who sent a letter to HUD Secretary Ben Carson. The letter demands that the rule requiring everyone living in public houses to be in the country legally be revoked because some of those who could be affected are U.S. citizen children with illegal parents.

“Thank you @RepBarragan, @RepMaxineWaters, and other MoC for speaking out against @HUDgov’s proposal to evict families with an undocumented relative in the home. Yesterday, the #BOS approved my co-authored motion with @SheilaKuehl to send a letter against this unjust action,” Solis tweeted.

During his Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance this week, Trevor Noah insisted that “hate him or love him,” Trump is the first presidential candidate to make good on the promises he delivered during the campaign.

“Then, when Donald Trump was elected and then proceeded to do what he had promised, ironically, right?” Noah said. “Because it’s funny that Donald Trump would be the first presidential candidate to actually deliver. Hate him or love him, hate him or love him, he’s doing the things he said he was going to do.”

The South African comic recently insisted that the 2020 race will be interesting because it will be about the Democrats instead of about Donald Trump.

“What’s going to be interesting for me in 2020 is this new narrative and this new discussion around the Democratic Party — because for a long time it’s just been one storyline: Donald Trump,” Noah said during a SXSW panel in March, according to Fox News. “But now it’s going to be: Who are the Democrats? What do they stand for? What are their plans?”

“We’re going to be at the conventions, we’re going to be tracking the primaries,” Noah concluded. “We’re going to go where ever there’s access.”

Without even attempting to conceal or shade or nuance it, Ratajkowski comes right out and says we need to kill unborn black children before they grow up to become black criminals.

What you have here is a white racist making a eugenics argument cloaked in social justice niceties.

We’ll get to the facts and statistics in a moment, but this must first be made clear: Emily Ratajkowski’s argument, her rationale is no different from what we have heard throughout the darkest parts of human history from the KKK, Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger’s hideous sentiments about black Americans, or from the Nazis about any non-Aryan race….

Consumer Sentiment Soars to Highest Level in 15 Years

The University of Michigan’s consumer sentiment index in May jumped to a reading of 102.4 from April’s 97.2. Economists had expected a more modest pickup to 97.5.

This is the third survey showing economic conditions improving in May, following the Philadelphia Fed manufacturing survey and the New York Fed’s Empire State survey.

The index for consumer expectations rocketed higher, rising to 96 from 87.4 in April. The current economic conditions ticked up a tenth of a point to 112.4.

“Consumers viewed prospects for the overall economy much more favorably, with the economic outlook for the near and longer term reaching their highest levels since 2004,” the survey’s chief economist Richard Curtin said in a statement.
