Going to disagree with you on the great medical system.

Healthcare has been too expensive for ages, starting in the 80's, when America really started going to hell. High healthcare costs vs the care you get is -why- Obamacare/Romneycare got any sort of traction with the public at all. And please don't forget that Republicans didn't put any alternatives on the table. They just sat there and screamed 'death panels', which insurance companies already have anyway.
