The re-make of Red Dawn was originally written as against the Chinese and filming was almost complete before the chinks got pissed and made it be re written as the US being invaded by the N. Koreans. That combined with the casting of the fat kid from Drake and Josh made for the shitshow it became.

I think I made it about 3 minutes into it before I decided not to waste my life like that.
