TIME TO END THE "ANTI-SEMITISM" CHARADE?

Every criticism of Israeli policy, particularly their policy against the Palestinians, is labelled as "Anti-Semitic," but let's break that down.

It's not just Jews that are Semitic, Palestinian Arabs are too. They are literally a Semitic people - literally !! So, how can supporting a Semitic people be called "Anti-Semitic?" The claim is both factually inaccurate and logically absurd.

Any criticism of Zionism is also labelled as "Anti-Semitic." Why? Because they claim this denies the Jews (an allegedly Semitic people) from returning to the land of their ancestors and from claiming their birthright. Their "ancestors?" Their "birthright?" What? With 1/1024th of her DNA, does Elizabeth Warren qualify as Native American? I think not.

How is it, then, that Israel is composed of white-skinned people when all the other populations in the surrounding counties are brown-skinned? This is because 80% of Jews are Ashkenazi in origin, that is of European not Middle-Eastern descent. DNA analysis shows that all Ashkenazis can trace their roots to a group of 330 people who lived in Europe 600 - 800 years ago. These are hardly the lost tribes of Israel.

As such, these European Jews have no right to claim the land of Israel in the Middle East is theirs by birthright, because they don't originate from there, they originate in Europe. Therefore, they are not a "Semitic" people but are more accurately European.

Only Sephardic Jews could claim some kind of decent from an ancient Semitic people but even these Jews don't originate exclusively from the Middle East but are also from Spain, Portugal and North Africa. Plus, at only 20% of the Jewish total, they are vastly outnumbered by the European Ashkenazi Jews.

So this claim too, that Anti-Zionism is "Anti-Semitism," is also both factually incorrect and logically absurd.

Time to end this disingenuous charade?
