I have been curious about RBG for some time. She grew up in a Jewish home which makes me wonder about risks for certain genetic problems (No racism or anti-semitism or whatever- just certain groups of people have higher frequencies of certain genetic traits/diseases). She had a sister who died of meningitis and a mother who died young of cancer (so did her husband, who had testicular cancer early in RBG's marriage to him, apparently). I got to wondering about HIV/AIDs I think a lot of people were infected via vaccines (Africa) or deliberately exposed in a health care setting. She's (this is all from Wikipedia accessed today) had cancer THREE TIMES (makes me wonder about some kind of multiple endocrine neoplasia, maybe) yet, starting in 1999 began training with a "former Army reservist attached to the Special Forces" named Bryant Johnson. Training with a reservist from Special Forces seems like an important aspect of this whole thing. She reportedly could do 20 push-ups prior to her 80th birthday.
