The sphere has a charge on the inner surface and a charge on the outer surface.
This coupled charge state, which completely envelopes the human inside, negates all exterior forces we call gravity.
Human beings in this gravity-less environment will grow differently.
Bones will be elongated, head will be oversized.
They probably developed technological fixes in order to overcome mortality problems created by growth in the altered environment.
