These are well known parasites. Filarial worms match what the patient.info link described. Maybe not this case but the doctors should have suspected it.

There are various KNOWN filarial worms which do different things. Some crawl around under skin, and can be seen moving at times. Hard to catch.

My favorite parasite are Botflies BTW.

Filarial worm infections are caused by certain roundworms and affect different parts of the body depending on the species of worm.

There are many species of filarial worms, but only a few infect people. Species that infect people may reside in

Tissues under the skin (subcutaneous tissues): African eye worm (Loa loa), which causes loiasis, or Onchocerca volvulus, which causes river blindness (onchocerciasis)

Lymph tissues: Wuchereria bancrofti, Brugia malayi, or Brugia timori, which cause lymphatic filariasis

Most of these infections occur in tropical and subtropical areas. Infection with the dog heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis) occurs worldwide, but this infection rarely causes symptoms in people.

Septic tanks are awful.

Rural folks can compost their waste.

Shit in a saucepan lined with paper or straw.

Dump this in a plastic barrel covered with an insect screen.

Poop and paper/straw/wood chips have a proper ratio.

Keeping the barrel contents moist means barely any smell.

After filled let sit for a year.

Shovel into another barrel to mix it, let sit for another year.

After this its just compost, unrecognizable any other.

Dump it somewhere out back and plant a tree.

This is the lazy way, other methods and commercial gimmicks work faster.

Remember this when SHTF.

Allicin is the garlic extract?

Then probably no, no one has done tests because it can't be patented.

Add a methyl group on there somewhere and you're in business, though.

Physicians generally do not know about such natural medicines.

Basically their education is run by drug companies.

First cure the spirit.

If people are sub clinically depressed they won't take the time to run every other day, to cook their own meals, to dig dirt and get into the sun.

Possibly the majority of people live in such a state of depression.

Nothing to be done to bring such people back to health while depressed.

And they will not be responsive to many natural remedies.

Spirit.

Nutrition.

Exercise.

Or there is no cure.
