They had cell phones in 2001, why wouldn't Ashton have called his "girlfriend" if she was expecting him, her car was out front and there were stains on the carpet?

Ashton was told by some stranger to leave his own girlfriend alone and just walks away? Fucking bullshit.

How would any reasonable prosecutor not have included him as a person of interest from the get go, especially since he was noticed by a witness as being at the seen within an hour of the crime? Did they ever even question him or anyone?

LAPD is in on it and prosecutor is covering for Ashton, knowingly or not.
