Yeah, I was reading about it. The concept is cool, but that's where it all falls apart. What was wrong with 4 speeds that they had to cut transmission lifespan 30-90%? Apparently it's not even new tech, and it was just as troublesome in industrial applications.

Manuals are being half-assed too now. Soft enough that a broken synchro can ruin the gears. Sadly your best bet is an Aisin 4-speed. Unless you can get a 90s or older manual.
