Whenever classified information has been exposed (speaking of HRC especially) a review is done of what assets have been affected and how the leak can be fixed.
In the case of HRC we have seen that our entire national security system was exposed. Assets surely were exposed and endangered.
Codes were likely exposed.
Personality characters were charted and illegal acts were recorded. Speaking of BLACKMAIL, there it all is.
The world was likely watching HRC like going to a movie theater.
And so the entire system surely had to be rebuilt FROM SCRATCH. All equipment had to be tested for sabotage. All actors needed to be listed to discern who was acting against our national interests.
My guess is that Trump weathered the Crossfire Hurricane (IMO which was the coordination of the media and the congress feeding each other back and forth with Trump in the middle)
Trump weathered this by having the evidence (from Bill Binney, Adm. Rogers,and the FISA court investigation) that would in the end exonerate him completely.
They just have to realize that
not everyone was playing their game,
and they will be all named as conspirators
during one of our country's most endangered times – the changing over of the entire national security system.
The President is the Commander in Chief
and we are still at war. As long as our troops are fighting somewhere, they need to have faith in their leadership.
HRC would have destroyed our armies. EVERYONE knew how corrupt she is.

Originally Senators were recruited from a State's own legislature
and it should return to that.
It is impossible to RECALL a representative or senator who has betrayed the interests of the people of that state. Representatives are more local and people have better access to them, and they must live with the people they have represented. Always important to elect established residents of a district, ain't it.
If a Senator becomes outrageous to the peple of the state, the people could go to their state representatives and force them to RECALL that senator and replace him/her.
The thing that makes a Republic work is the peoples' access to their representatives. And that may be what is wrong with Washington DC.
