yeah it did. probably the autopilot (they have 4) tried to recover from the nosedown input from the ejection seat going out, then ran out of airspeed and altitude, stalled and rolled over.

like all modern fighters, an F16 is inherently unstable. this is so it's rapidly maneuverable, and for that reason it's uncontrollable by a human. the pilot just directs the autopilots what to do.
