The Boycott Begins: Chinese Company Orders Employees To "Stop Using American Products, Eating At KFC"

In a harbinger of what's to come as the US-China trade war gets worse by the day, a Chinese company has told all of its employees to boycott American products and halt international travels to the U.S., reported The Epoch Times.

Jinggang Motor Vehicle Inspection Station notified all employees last Thursday, May 16 that the use of iPhones, driving in American automobiles, eating at American fast food restaurants, using American household products, and even traveling to the U.S. was forbidden by a new company policy; any employee who violated the new rules would be fired. Here are some excerpts from the notice:

"Employees are prohibited from purchasing or using iPhones; instead, they are recommended to use Chinese domestic brands of cell phones, such as Huawei.

"Employees are not allowed to purchase vehicles made by China-U.S. joint venture automakers. They are recommended to purchase 100 percent Chinese-made vehicles.

"Employees are forbidden to eat at McDonald's or Kentucky Fried Chicken. They are not allowed to purchase P&G [Proctor and Gamble, a U.S. maker of household products], Amway [U.S. maker of health and beauty products], or any other American brands. Employees must not go to the United States as a tourist."

The company's memo was emailed to employees several days after state-run newspaper Global Times published an editorial piece that called on the Chinese public to "fight a people's war" against the U.S.

As a result of a prolonged trade war with the U.S., the company said: "To help our country win this war, company authorities have decided that all employees must immediately stop purchasing and using American products."

Schumer Left Slack-Jawed After Trump Abruptly Walks Out of Meeting ‘What Happened in the White House Would Make Your Jaw Drop’

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was triggered after President Trump abruptly walked out of a meeting Wednesday morning and refused to talk about infrastructure.

Earlier Wednesday morning, Speaker Pelosi accused President Trump of a “cover-up” — and Trump wasn’t having it.

President Trump walked out of the meeting and held an impromptu presser in the Rose Garden at the White House.

“I told Senator Schumer, Speaker Pelosi: I want to do infrastructure…But you know what? You can’t do it under these circumstances. So get these phony investigations over with.” Trump said in a presser Wednesday.

Cryin Schumer was triggered and said what happened in the White House would make your jaw drop. Good!

“To watch what happened in the white house would make your jaw drop. … There were investigations going on three weeks ago when we met. And he still met with us. But now that he was forced to actually say how he would pay for it, he had to run away. … It’s clear that this was not a spontaneous move on the president’s part. It was planned.”

President Trump left Schumer slack-jawed and Pelosi short-circuiting and stuttering which means he is doing something right.

Theresa May Reportedly To Resign In Hours

Update (12:15 pm ET): A senior No. 10 source has reportedly stepped up to deny reports about the PM's impending resignation.

Yet, cabinet ministers' angst over May's 'New Deal' continues to fester, and a flurry of meetings involving the 1922 Committee of Tory backbenchers, May's chief whip, and various cabinet ministers, are underway in Westminster.

The Deep State’s ‘Insurance Policy’ Was Obstruction – But President Trump Never Obstructed and Crushed Obama’s Deep State!

The Deep State players in the FBI left a clue of their plans when they called what they were doing an ‘Insurance Policy’. Their plans were to catch President Trump obstructing their fraudulent investigation. But the President outsmarted them and by not obstructing ended their soft coup!

As previously reported, a portion of the approximately 10,000 texts messages sent between FBI agent Peter Strzok and lawyer Lisa Page were released in 2017. Among the messages is an exchange revealing Strzok and Page discussed an ‘insurance policy,’ against a Trump presidency.

The text from Peter Strzok to Lisa Page said this:

I want to believe the path u threw out 4 consideration in Andy’s office-that there’s no way he gets elected-but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in unlikely event u die be4 you’re 40.”

There has been much speculation as to what exactly the insurance policy was that Strzok and Page were discussing. Some suspect that it was the fake dossier created by former MI6 Agent and Trump hater Christopher Steele that the FBI used to obtain the warrant to spy on the Trump campaign and administration via a Carter Page warrant.

Others suggest that the insurance policy may have been the Mueller investigation. It may have been all of the above that were created to take the focus off of Obama’s crimes and the Deep State.

But what we believe is that the ‘insurance policy’ most likely was the attempt to frame the President and lure him into an obstruction charge.

This makes sense when you review the activities that led up to today. For starters, Obama’s Deep State and its leaders in the FBI, DOJ, State Department and CIA were all working overtime to obtain the FISA warrant to spy on Trump. Hillary Clinton was tied to the Uranium One scandal and she was also skating by after the bogus investigation into her emails. Obama and Hillary had to do something so they decided to go on the attack and frame Donald Trump.

They started by spying on candidate Trump and his team. They did this across Europe and in the United States. They even spied on Trump in Trump Tower in New York City. But President Trump found this out and tweeted about it in the first months of his administration –

Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 4, 2017

Next the Deep State set in motion the most corrupt actions in US history. They fed fake news to the media who gladly repeated it. All of it was anti-Trump propaganda. They leaked information to the press, some real and much fake, that added to the media’s Trump frenzy.

They used the US Intel apparatus to spy on the President and his team. The next big move was to get the President’s Attorney General to recuse himself from just about everything and then encourage the DOJ to hire their corrupt guy to run the DOJ, Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy AG. Rosenstein did a masterful job in redacting anything that Congress would ask for related to their coup, so much so that he was soon known as Rod Redactenstein.

Almost two-thirds of Americans oppose pre-emptive US strike on Iran, fresh poll finds

A sizeable majority of US citizens oppose the idea of pre-emptive strikes on Iran, and massively disapprove of Trump’s policy towards the Islamic Republic, a survey has revealed as tensions continue to flare in the Gulf.

Some 60 percent of Americans believe that the US should not attack Iranian armed forces first, while a measly 12 percent supported carrying out a pre-emptive attack, according to a Tuesday poll by Reuters/Ipsos. That’s despite 53 percent of American adults referring to Iran as a “serious” or “imminent” threat.

That figure, overlooked by many mainstream media outlets, was almost as large as the number of American adults (51 percent) who believed their country is set to go to war against Iran in the next few years.

Nerves in the troubled Gulf region were put more on edge last week after Donald Trump delivered a veiled threat to Iran via Twitter, saying that any conflict with the US would mean “the official end of Iran.” During two years of his presidency, he also quit the hard-fought 2015 nuclear deal and re-imposed sweeping sanctions on Iran’s economy.

Now, nearly half – 49 percent – of Americans were notably unappreciative of Trump’s handling of Iran.

US-Iran tensions were fueled by a string of American military deployments this month. The Pentagon has already sent an aircraft carrier strike group, a squadron of B-52 bombers, and a battery of Patriot missiles to the Middle East, stirring up fears of a looming conflict.

Iran was skeptical about the US’ willingness to engage in an all-out military confrontation, saying Washington lacked both the political will and military assets. In the meantime, Tehran stated that while it does not want war, it remains ready for any eventuality.

Missiles fired at Russian Khmeimim airbase in Syria amid massive militant offensive – MoD

Al-Nusra terrorists on Wednesday fired 17 missiles at Russian Khmeimim airbase in Syria, all of which were either intercepted or fell short. The attack came as the Syrian Army faced a mass militant offensive in the Idlib province.

Nine missiles were intercepted by the Khmeimim’s air defense, Russia’s Defense Ministry said, while eight others hit the ground before reaching the base. The attack, carried out with the use of multiple rocket launcher systems, originated from a terrorist held area in the Idlib province.

The attack came amid a large-scale offensive against the Syrian military launched by the Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham terrorist group (formerly known as the Al-Nusra Front, an Al-Qaeda affiliate).

More than 500 militants, seven tanks, four APCs and 30 trucks with mounted machine guns and two explosive-laden vehicles, driven by suicide bombers, took part in the assault, on Wednesday morning. They were backed by another 200 gunmen, and hardware, attacking the government forces from the other side.

The offensive failed as the Syrian military killed 150 terrorists and destroyed three tanks, as well as 24 trucks with mounted machine guns during the heavy fighting.

Khmeimim has frequently been the subject of attempted attacks by terrorist groups, which target the base with rockets and explosive-laden drones. None of the attacks have been successful, but the Russian military warned that the advanced technology possessed by the jihadists can be used against less-protected targets in Syria and abroad.

If the situation in Syria wasn’t tense enough, the US has again accused the Syrian government of using chemical weapons in the terrorist-held areas in Idlib, though admitting that it has little proof to back those claims.

But the State Department still threatened Damascus on Tuesday that “the US and our allies will respond quickly and appropriately” if their suspicions are confirmed.

The Russian military, meanwhile, warned that Tahrir ash-Sham has set up a special “chemical unit” with the aim of staging a chemical attack in Idlib and to blame the Syrian government of the crime.

This tactic has already been employed by the jihadists on several occasions during the conflict, despite Damascus’s chemical weapons stockpiles being destroyed in 2014 under international supervision.

Dunkin' Donuts dunks on Starbucks for shoving political agendas down customers' throats

'We aren't gonna put stuff on our cups to start conversations'

Dunkin' Donuts executive Drayton Martin made a profound statement this week: Dunkin' customers will only receive the coffee and donuts they order — liberal political agendas excluded.

Her comments, of course, were a knock against Starbucks — one of Dunkin's main competitors — which has aggressively pushed political agendas in recent years.

What did Martin say?

While speaking in Boston on Monday during the International Trademark Association's annual meeting, Martin directly targeted Starbucks' insistence on wading into political agendas.

"We are not Starbucks, we aren't political," Martin said. "We aren't gonna put stuff on our cups to start conversations. We don't want to engage you in political conversation, we want to get you in and out of our store in seconds."

According to Yahoo News, Martin's remarks were not videoed, nor was a transcript recorded. However, several people who attended the event tweeted her comments.

What's the background?

Martin directed her comments at Starbucks because the coffee chain is notorious for using its influence to push political agendas, either through cup designs or encouraging baristas to engage in controversial political discussions with customers on complex topics like race relations in the U.S.

Other notable times when Starbucks waded into politics happened in 2013 when it banned open-carry of firearms in all its stores and in 2017 when the company announced it would hire 10,000 refugees in response to President Donald Trump's controversial travel ban.

7 CEOs Call Abortion A ‘Human Right’ In New York Times Ad

A group of CEOs placed a full, two-page advertisement in the New York Times Tuesday calling abortion a “human right” and urging corporate America to get more involved.

“It’s time for corporate America to speak up,” the ad says. “For too long, corporate America has largely been silent on speaking up for sexual and reproductive health and rights. That must change.”

All seven of the CEOs who signed the letter were women. The companies they represent range from sex-toy designers to feminine-hygiene providers.

Salvini: ‘Extremists’ Merkel, Macron and Junker betrayed Europe in the name of finance, multinationalism, and mass immigration

The national populist parties from eleven European countries that gathered in Milan, promised to reshape continent via this week’s critically important European election.

Headlining the event was Itay’s Deputy Prime Minister and de-facto leader Matteo Salvini and Marine Le Pen of France’s National Rally (RN). The Europe of Nations and Freedom (ENF) voting bloc, led by two populist leaders, is expected to become Brussel’s third largest party following the election.

Parties within the ENF voting bloc all share the broad goals of returning power to EU member states, putting an end to mass immigration, and stopping the spread of Islam in Europe.

Germany’s Alternative for Deutschland (AfD), the Freedom Party (PVV) of the Netherlands, Slovakia’s Sme Rodina, and Bulgaria’s Volya were among the national populist parties in attendance.

After taking to the stage amid a roaring crowd of thousands of nationalist supporters at the Piazza del Duomo in Milan, Salvini asserted that “There are no extremists, racists or fascists in this square… The extremists are those who have governed Europe for the past 20 years.”

Salvini called out Merkel, Macron, George Soros, and Juncker as being extremists leaders who have betrayed Europe “in the name of finance, of multinationalism, of money and uncontrolled immigration.”

“Together we are building the future, there is no far-right here, there is just politics of common sense,” Salvini continued.

During his speech, the Italian leader described Europe as “one of the most beautiful dreams hypothesized by the founding fathers. The Europe of nations and people, of which De Gasperi, De Gaulle, and Margaret Thatcher talked about.”

Following Salvini, France’s National Leader Marine took to the stage, saying to the euphoric crowd that, “This is a historic moment…we say no to this immigration which has submerged our nations, putting our people at risk.”

Notably absent from the rally was Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his Fidesz party. Orbán hasn’t been shy to express publicly his support for and admiration of Salvini. Orbán has even promised “cooperation” after the vote, but thus far has yet to join the ENF voting bloc.

Poland’s governing right-wing populist PiS (Law and Justice party) also did not attend the rally.

In an interview on the Buck Sexton Show with former editor-in-chief at Breitbart News, Raheem Kassam – now Global Editor-in-Chief of Human Events – Donald Trump’s former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon predicted that national populist parties across the European continent could very well end up with thirty to thirty-five percent of the EU Parliament seats.

Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party, which staunchly advocates for the U.K. to leave the European Union, is expected to win over 35 percent of the British vote.

Meanwhile, it’s projected that support for Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (23.5 percent) will eclipse that of President Emmanuel Macron’s REM party. In the case that her party does in fact garner more support than Macron’s, Le Pen has called on the French president to step down from his post.

By the end of this week, Matteo Salvini’s League party expected to emerge as Italy’s largest party with 32 percent of the vote. The party could also end up being the largest single party in the European parliament.

Germany’s AfD is expected to pick up about 12% the vote.

Democrat Lauren Underwood Accuses Trump Admin of Murdering Children

First-term Democrat Rep. Lauren Underwood of Illinois accused the Trump administration of murdering children during a hearing with Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Kevin McAleenan on Wednesday.

Underwood said:

People keep dying, and so this is obviously more than a question of resources. Congress has been more than willing to provide the resources and work with you to address the security and humanitarian concerns, but at this point, with five kids that have died, 5,000 separated from their families, I feel like — and the evidence is really clear — that this is intentional. It’s intentional. It’s a policy choice, being made on purpose by this administration, and it’s cruel and inhumane.

McAleenan responded: “That’s an appalling accusation, and our men and women fight hard to protect people in our custody every single day. We’ve asked for those resources three weeks ago, it hasn’t been responded to by Congress, and we’ve asked for changes in authority for the last three years that would have prevented this from happening.”

Ranking Member Mike Rogers (R-AL) objected, and moved that Underwood’s remarks be “taken down.”

After the chair, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), asked Underwood to clarify her remarks, she essentially repeated them.

Rogers protested: “Mr Chairman, you cannot impugn the character of the witness by stating that he intentionally murders children.” He asked that her words be taken down again.

“I did not say ‘murdered’,” Underwood objected, claiming that she merely said “that five children have died as the result of a policy choice that he stands by.”

The chair rejected Rogers’s request, ruling instead that Underwood’s language was “appropriate, and that it should not be taken down.”

A vote was taken to appeal the ruling of the chair, and after considerable confusion, the chair ruled that the committee was in recess. When the vote resumed after the recess, the committee voted 9-to-7, entirely on party lines, to overturn the chair’s ruling, and Underwood’s words were taken down. There are 18 Democrats and 13 Republicans on the committee.

Farage on What Is at Stake at European Election: ‘Democracy, It’s Quite Simple Really’

Brexit leader Nigel Farage has gone head-to-head with stop-Brexit politician Vince Cable in the only broadcast debate in the run-up to Thursday’s European Parliament election, and appealed to voters who backed both leave and remain previously to vote for his party to help strengthen British democracy.

Debating Sir Vince Cable, whose manifesto for the European Union elections is titled “Bollocks to Brexit” and when asked why people should consider voting for him replied “we want to stop Brexit”, poll-topping Nigel Farage made a plea for democracy to be respected instead.

Asked by the moderator in a debate hosted by British newspaper the Daily Telegraph on why voters should consider the Brexit Party, which by the last poll before election day now stands as the would-be largest party at 37 per cent, Mr Farage said:

Democracy, it’s quite simple really. We had a referendum, a full free and fair referendum. We were told by the government whatever [the result] was, would be implemented. That couldn’t be clearer. We then had a general election in which about 75 per cent of people voted for Labour and Conservative parties, both of whom promised they would honour the referendum and deliver Brexit.

…we are a democratic country, our great tradition is that we’ve always been a great democratic country… I think this is a moment whether you’re a leaver or a remainer to say ‘promises must be kept’ because if they’re not, trust in the entire democratic system breaks down. So let’s deliver Brexit. We have a new date now, the 31st of October, we absolutely must leave on that date if we are to be in the eyes of the rest of the world a credible, democratic nation that obeys the rule of law.

Summarising his pitch later, Mr Farage continued:

There’s been too much in the past three years of what Westminster wants, and to hell with the country. The country now has a chance to speak.

…This is about freedom, independence, democracy. I can’t put a price on these things. This is so important generations that went before fought for them. That’s what we’re talking about here, we were given a choice in that referendum and career politicians are trying to prevent it. The whole thing is an outrage.

I’m appealing to you whether you voted leave or remain. It is vital that the promise that was made to the people that the referendum result be implemented, it is vital that happens. Otherwise, this country will never be the same place again.

While, as the name implies, the Brexit Party was founded last month to tackle one particular issue, it has taken aim at the democratic deficit in the country more broadly. Beyond the longstanding concerns over the debasement of British sovereignty by political rule from Brussels, Farage’s Brexit Party has also vowed to tackle the two-party system, and the failure of the Westminster establishment to represent the wishes of the British people.

Promising that a “big win” for the Brexit Party this week would kill off talk of a second referendum to overturn the first, Mr Farage said the Brexit Party was working to “fundamentally shift the political debate in this country.”
