Judiciary Committee Democrats just voted to give green cards to immigrants with DUIs, even if those crimes seriously injured innocent people. Republicans offered an amendment to fix this problem in H.R. 2820, and not a single Democrat supported that solution.

CPL Avenatti indicted again for alleged extortion, fraud
Michael Avenatti was hit with two separate indictments on Wednesday in New York for his alleged extortion of Nike and for allegedly defrauding a former client.
These are the latest charges filed against the lawyer, who has previously been charged in federal courts in New York and California.
Avenatti has tweeted in recent hours that another indictment was forthcoming. He said that at least one charge related to Stormy Daniels, the adult film star he formerly represented in her legal battles against President Trump.
He has claimed no wrongdoing over the charges.
