The word Rapture does not appear in the Bible. It comes from the Latin word rapare which means "seize", "snatch" or "take away."
and I believe it is also in the Greek.
The Church has always been called to a "blessed hope". Christ has died from my sins and I have been in Christ for over 50 years now. The Holy Spirit lives in me and I am sealed for salvation because all that the Father has given to Christ he will surly raise up and loose not one. The Jews or Luciferian's or whatever you want to call them have a meeting with Yahovah and He is not to be mocked. Whatever judgement he pours out on the world is not for true believers. Christ's work is done and finished. We have a blessed hope that as he went he shall come and gather us up again as he promised he would. If the Father is to pour out judgement on this earth he doesn't need to judge Jesus Christ or the holy spirt that lives in me.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a [a]shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive [b]and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
God promises to keep us from the testing when He is punishing the Jews.
Message to Philadelphia
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this:
8 ‘I know your [d]deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Behold, I [e]will cause those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—I will make them come and bow down [f]at your feet, and make them know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept the word of My [g]perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of [h]testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole [i]world, to [j]test those who dwell on the earth. 11 I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. 13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’
