It’s Time to Tell the Truth: Israeli Journalist Gideon Levy Supports Ilhan Omar’s Critique of Israel

The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution Thursday condemning anti-Semitism, anti-Muslim discrimination, white supremacy and other forms of hate, following a week of debate among congressional Democrats. The controversy began after some lawmakers accused Democratic Congressmember Ilhan Omar of invoking anti-Semitic tropes while questioning U.S. foreign policy on Israel. The House leadership initially drafted a resolution condemning anti-Semitism in what was seen as a direct rebuke of Omar. But many progressive Democrats said Omar, one of the first two Muslim Congresswoman in U.S. history, was unfairly being singled out. The split within the Democratic Party forced the leadership to withdraw its initial resolution and then present a much broader one. Congressmember Ilhan Omar voted for and praised the new resolution in a joint statement with fellow Muslim lawmakers Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and André Carson of Indiana. We speak with Gideon Levy, Haaretz columnist and member of the newspaper’s editorial board. His latest piece is headlined “Keep It Up, Ilhan Omar.”

This past Sunday the Polish Foreign Ministry announced that it had canceled an official visit from an Israeli delegation in Warsaw, since the Israelis were there to demand $300 billion in “restitution” for jewish property that they say had been stolen during WWII. Thousands of Polish patriots marched through the streets to send a clear message to the Israelis that they are sick of the BS.

On Saturday, thousands of Poles marched through central Warsaw, protesting a new US law on the restitution of Jewish property seized during and after the Holocaust. The law, the Just Act of 2017 (S. 447), requires the State Department to report to congress on steps taken by 47 countries in Europe, all signatories of the 2009 Terezin Declaration, to compensate Holocaust survivors and their heirs for assets seized by Nazi Germany and post-war communist governments.

The Polish protesters waved Polish flags and banners that read “447 go home” and “No to claims,” and marched from the prime minister’s office to the US embassy. It was the biggest public display to date of opposition to the US Just Act since it had been signed into law by President Donald Trump in 2018.

Although the law covers 47 countries, no one, including Poles, has any doubt that its one, central target is Poland, because Poland is the sole state in Europe that has not passed legislation compensating Jewish former property owners. In fact, the Polish government sees itself as the main target of the law. Still, Poland has yet to pass a single, unified law regarding restitution…

The Polish government’s struggle to shirk the Polish people’s responsibility for their share in the industrialized mass murder of Jews by the Nazi occupiers—making it illegal to even mention it in many cases—is now hitting the phase in history where the crimes of Polish collaborators are going to start costing Poland a lot of money.

Or, as the prophet Nahum put it so eloquently (Nahum 1:2): “The Lord is a jealous and avenging God, the Lord avenges and is full of wrath; the Lord takes vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies.”

Jews are openly threatening the “vengeance” of Yahweh against the Poles in their press, since Poland is an enemy for not paying reparations for their supposed complicity in helping Germans commit the Holohoax.

Venezuela, Iran: Trump and the deep state

The US Press is spreading a false narrative of the events in Venezuela and the rise of tension between Washington and Teheran. Given the contradictory declarations of both sides, it is almost impossible to discern the truth. After having checked the facts, we need to deepen our analysis and take into account the opposition between the different political currents in these countries.

The new deal of the White House and the Pentagon

The parliamentary elections of 6 November 2018 deprived President Trump of his majority in the House of Representatives. The Democratic Party assumed that this would lead inevitably to his destitution.

Of course, he had done nothing to deserve it, but a flood of hysteria swamped the two camps of the United States, exactly as it had during the Civil War [1]. For the last two years, the partisans of economic globalisation had been pursuing the Russian trail, waiting for Prosecutor Robert Mueller to prove President Trump’s ’’high treason’’.

Robert Mueller has always given priority to the interests of the federal state over Truth and Law. During the Lockerbie attack, it was Mueller who invented the Libyan trail on the basis of ’’proof’’’ which was later invalidated by Scottish Justice [2]. It was Mueller, after the attacks of 11 September 2001, who claimed that three planes had been hijacked by 19 terrorists, none of whose names figured on the embarkation lists [3]. His conclusions concerning the Russian enquiry were known before the investigation had begun.

Donald Trump therefore negotiated his political survival with the deep state [4]. He had no choice. It was agreed that the Rumsfeld/Cebrowski plan [5] would be implemented on the condition that it would not drag the nation into a major war. In exchange, Prosecutor Robert Mueller changed sides and declared President Trump innocent of treason [6].

While they were at it, the hawks seized the opportunity to impose the return of the neo-conservatives. This New York Trotskyist groupuscule, built around the American Jewish Committee (AJC), had originally been recruited by Ronald Reagan. It transformed the ideal of a « world revolution » into that of « world US imperialism ». Since that time, it has participated in all US administrations, one day Republican, the next day Democrat, according to the political leanings of the President in power. The only exception to that rule so far has been the Trump administration, which, however, did not exclude it from its reserved agencies, the NED (National Endowment for Democracy) and the USIP (United States Institute of Peace).

Two more Microsoft zero-days uploaded on GitHub

SandboxEscaper has now published seven zero-days in Microsoft products; two more to come.

A security researcher going online by the pseudonym of SandboxEscaper has published today demo exploit code for two more Microsoft zero-days after releasing a similar fully-working exploit the day before.

These two mark the sixth and seventh zero-days impacting Microsoft products this security researcher has published in the past ten months, with the first four being released last year, and three over the past two days.

Windows Error Reporting zero-day

The first of the two new zero-days is a vulnerability in the Windows Error Reporting service that SandboxEscaper said it can be exploited via a carefully placed DACL (discretionary access control list) operation.

The researcher named this bug "AngryPolarBearBug2" after a similar zero-day she discovered in the same Windows Error Reporting service last December, and named "AngryPolarBearBug."

The good news is that this zero-day is not as easy to exploit as the last. "It can take upwards of 15 minutes for the bug to trigger," SandboxEscaper said.

Once exploited, the zero-day should grant an attacker access to edit files they normally couldn't. In other words, it's a local privilege escalation issue, but as SandboxEscaper puts it: "not that much of an issue."

Hundreds of Jews Protest Anti-Semitism: ‘Omar Must Go!’

On Monday, hundreds of Jews held a rally in Times Square in New York City to protest Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitism, where they shouted in unison, “Omar must go!”

The Jerusalem Post reported, “Following the highly-publicized allegations of the Minnesotan congresswoman’s antisemitism and her statement downplaying the 9/11 terrorist attacks, New York native and activist Joe Diamond organized a rally and billboard launch calling for her removal.”

Protesters Energized

Speakers included former Democratic New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind and “award-winning advocate of Christian Zionism Laurie Cardoza-Moore.”

Organizer Diamond told the Jerusalem Post:

“In my lifetime, I cannot think of any other politician who presents a bigger threat to the alliance between the U.S. and Israel and to America’s Jews. This woman is an ardent antisemite, and she doesn’t even try to hide it.”

“Ilhan and her clique are well aware of what we are doing,” he added. “And we’re not done. Everyone left really energized – ready to do whatever must be done next.”

Omar’s controversial comments are something she hasn’t backed down from and many Democrats including leadership have defended her.

“We have to utilize every mechanism of media to wake up Americans about the vile hatred of this woman,” Cardoza-Moore said. “Christians should also be alarmed. Ilhan Omar is a huge threat to our national security.”

How Long Will This Continue?

Obviously, this is nothing new for Omar.

The View’s Meghan McCain criticized Omar’s anti-Semitism last month, “I do think when we are having conversations about anti-Semitism we should be looking at the most extreme on both sides, and I would bring up Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and some of her comments that got so much attention,” McCain said.

Omar mocked McCain by tweeting, “Oh, Bless her heart.”

SFPD Earning Universal Condemnation For Raiding A Journalist's Home During Its Internal Leak Investigation

When the San Francisco Police Department decided to externalize its internal investigation of a leaked document, things got unlawful and unconstitutional in a hurry. Deciding the best way to sniff out the leaker of a police report detailing the death of prominent public defender Jeff Adachi was through the front door of a local journalist, the SFPD now has a lot of explaining to do.

The SFPD raided journalist Bryan Carmody's home supposedly to find information that would lead them to one of its own officers. Carmody is a stringer and had shopped around a copy of the police report someone inside the SFPD leaked to him. None of this is criminal. Nothing about Carmody's information-gathering fell outside of the law. If anyone broke the law, it was the officer or PD employee who gave him the report.

That fact notwithstanding, officers showed up at Carmody's house and – after waging a losing battle with an impressive front gate – handcuffed him for six hours while confiscating $10,000-worth of electronic devices and computers. It's safe to assume these items contained plenty of information Carmody had gathered from other sources, as well as information about those sources. Again, this search and seizure violated the state's journalist shield law, if not the US Constitution itself.

Carmody has released security footage of the SFPD's arrival. One can only assume his front gate will be facing obstruction of justice charges.

New study confirms: Junk food takes YEARS off your life

It’s hard to keep track of all the ways that the wrong foods can compromise your health. For example, eating nitrates is linked to colorectal cancer, but how can you tell which foods contain these chemicals? Sugar is bad no matter how you look at it, but aren’t artificial sweeteners even worse? You can’t bring a stack of nutrition journals with you every time you head to the grocery store, so a recent study makes it very clear: junk food takes years off of your life, plain and simple.

In a study that you’ll want to keep in mind the next time you catch yourself trying to rationalize eating junk food, French researchers looked at nearly 45,000 healthy middle-aged people to determine the risks of consuming junk food. They measured their intake of more the 3,000 foods categorized into four groups according to how processed they were.

They found that those who ate more ultra-processed food had a higher risk of death. Specifically, they found that an increase of 10 percent in the amount of junk food a person consumes is associated with a 14 percent increase in their risk of death from a non-communicable disease within eight years. They found that this link still existed even after accounting for factors such as age, gender, smoking, physical activity levels, educational background and obesity. Their findings were published in JAMA Internal Medicine.

What consumers may not realize, however, is that many of these new foods are made using synthetic biology, an emerging science that applies principles of genetic engineering to create life forms from scratch.

But of course nobody really knows what the long-term health effects will be once humans start eating “synthetic proteins” on a massive scale.

Goldman and JPM Set Their Sights on the “Little People’s” Money

How bad can things be on Wall Street if such banking titans are this desperate for funds?

After chasing the super rich for a century, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs are now offering no minimum accounts. As we will explain shortly, their motives may not be all that altruistic.

In March of 2016, the Wall Street Journal’s Emily Glazer reported that clients of JPMorgan Chase’s Private Bank “will be required to have at least $10 million in investible assets, twice the current minimum of $5 million.”

What smells like real money to Goldman Sachs has also been eight-figures and higher. In 2013, the New York Times reported that Goldman had a $10 million minimum to manage private wealth and was booting out its own employees’ accounts if they were less than $1 million.

High net worth individuals are what each of the mega Wall Street banks look for since the more money the bank invests, the more fees it generates and the fatter its bonuses are to its traders and executives. And the super rich do not want to be seen coming through the same doors to invest with the main street common folks.

For more than a century, it has been something of a sacrosanct oath for JPMorgan and Goldman to keep out the hoi polloi. When Nomi Prins, the prolific author and former Managing Director of Goldman Sachs penned her 2004 book, Other People’s Money: The Corporate Mugging of America, she wrote that Goldman was “too conceited to have its name or logo visible from the sidewalk of its 85 Broad Street headquarters.”

When Goldman Sachs was negotiating its deal with New York City in 2005 to build its new headquarters building at 200 West Street, one of its requirements was that it have a seat along with the New York City Police Department in a taxpayer-funded spy center to keep the Main Street riffraff under surveillance. Goldman wanted the new surveillance center to be in place no later than December 31, 2009. Curious, isn’t it, that Goldman was prescient enough to think that the pitchforks might be coming out after an epic crash on Wall Street. The spy center was, indeed, built and both Goldman and JPMorgan Chase were given seats, along with the New York Fed, Citigroup and others. Now, all of a sudden, Goldman Sachs Bank USA is offering FDIC insured savings accounts with no minimums to the little guy and JPMorgan Chase is frying the brains of its legions of upscale brand marketing gurus with an account that promises “100+ commission-free online stock and ETF trades with $0 minimum to start.” After the little guy has exhausted his 100 free trades, the cost will be $2.95 per trade thereafter, according to the firm’s website.

What could account for this sudden noblesse oblige from the pair of serial miscreants, both of whom have paid monster fines for ripping off the common folk while they took huge secret bailouts from the Federal Reserve.

JPMorgan Chase operates two Dark Pools that are, effectively, unregulated stock exchanges that operate inside the bowels of the bank in darkness. JPMorgan may be attempting to attract some dumb money to trade against and for its hedge fund clients to trade against.

Syrian Army Destroyed Turkish-Supplied Armored Vehicles Around Kafr Nabudah (Video, Photos)

On May 23, pro-government sources released photos showing two Panthera F9 armored personnel carriers (APCs), which were destroyed by the Tiger Forces during the recent battle in the town of Kafr Nabudah.

The sources also released a short video showing Syrian soldiers targeting one of the vehicles with an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM).

Both APCs belong to the National Front for Liberation (NFL). The Turkish-backed coalition released photos of three such vehicles back when the attack on Kafr Nabudah began.

This is not the first time this type of APCs is seen with Turkey’s proxies in Syria. A year earlier, Faylaq al-Sham used two Panthera F9 in an attack on SAA positions in northern Hama. The attack failed and the SAA captured both vehicles back then. One of them was displayed in Russia recently.

These vehicles prove that Turkey backed the militants’ recent attack in northern Hama, which allowed Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) to impose control of Kafr Nabudah.

Trump fires back at 'dumb as a rock' Tillerson on Putin

President Trump on Thursday blasted Rex Tillerson after The Washington Post reported that the former secretary of State told lawmakers that Russian President Vladimir Putin was better prepared than Trump for a meeting in 2017.

"Rex Tillerson, a man who is 'dumb as a rock' and totally ill prepared and ill equipped to be Secretary of State, made up a story (he got fired) that I was out-prepared by Vladimir Putin at a meeting in Hamburg, Germany," Trump tweeted.

"I don’t think Putin would agree. Look how the U.S. is doing!"

The president nominated Tillerson as secretary of State at the outset of his administration, and fired him in March 2018 amid numerous clashes over U.S. foreign policy.

The Post reported that Tillerson spent hours meeting with the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Tuesday, where he provided insight about the president's foreign policy strategy.

Tillerson told the panel that Putin out-prepared Trump during the meeting in Hamburg, and said he believed there was more the U.S. needed to do to confront Russia, according to the newspaper.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders appeared on CNN's "New Day" a short time after Trump tweeted about Tillerson, and defended the president's preparation for the meeting with Putin in Germany and its outcome.

She did not directly answer, however, when asked why Trump nominated someone he has since derided as "dumb as a rock" and "ill equipped" for the job.

Thursday's tweet marked the latest barb in the acrimonious relationship between Trump and his former top diplomat.

Tillerson reportedly called the president a "moron" while serving in the administration, straining their relationship. Trump at times undercut the then-secretary of State on talks with North Korea and other issues before firing him over Twitter.

In December, Tillerson criticized the president during a fundraising event in Houston, saying Trump was undisciplined and would suggest taking actions that would break the law. The two men "did not have a common value system," he said.

Trump hit back a short time later, calling Tillerson "dumb as a rock" and "lazy as hell."

Trump has repeatedly defended his posture toward Russia, simultaneously arguing that no administration has been tougher on the Kremlin and that it would be beneficial to get along with Moscow.

Israeli kingpin wanted for sex trafficking arrested in Portugal

An Israeli man wanted by Colombia for sex trafficking, including of minors, was arrested in Portugal yesterday, according to a police statement.

Police arrested Assi Ben-Mosh, 45, near Lisbon while in possession of fake Israeli identity documents, Spain’s Guardia Civil police force says in a statement.

He is suspected of having operated a “bunker-like” hotel in Taganga, a Colombian fishing village that has become popular with backpackers, where young women and underage girls were sexually exploited, the statement says.

Netanyahu asks for international help as huge fires force evacuation of 3,500

Public security minister directs rescue services to prepare for national emergency amid searing heatwave; officials ready to vacate thousands more as 800 blazes ravage Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed the Foreign Ministry to reach out to nearby countries for “immediate” assistance in putting out the hundreds of fires that were ravaging the country Thursday evening, destroying dozens of houses and forcing the evacuation of some 3,500 from their homes.

Netanyahu did not specify which countries Israel would approach, but a senior Fire Department official said earlier they could turn to Cyprus, Greece and Croatia for help.

Hours earlier, Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan held a situational assessment and instructed fire authorities to prepare for the possibility that a national emergency be declared, with Friday’s temperatures expected to eclipse 100° F throughout the country.

Erdan later told Channel 12 news that with the exception of several fires near Gaza caused by arson balloons, there were no indications so far of arson.
