PB 6568009
The land promise was a conditional promise – as long as they obeyed His laws. (Ex. 19:5-8; Deu. 7; 11:26-28; 20:17; 28:1;) “…If thou shalt harken diligently unto the voice of the Lord they God, to observe and TO DO ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS which I command thee this day…..” But, Deu. 28:15, 24-26, 37
“15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:…. 24 The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. 26 And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away…..37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.” ….
“63 And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.”
The first dispersion into Assyria for Ephraim – the northern 10 tribes; the second dispersion into Babylon for Judea and Benjamin- the southern 2 tribes was the first fulfillment of this prophesy. God re-gathered the tribes out of Babylon & Assyria for His Name’s sake – for Christ – the dry bones prophesy of Ezek. 37:1-28, the 2 sticks for Judah and Ephraim (Joseph) which was fulfilled from the return of the Babylonian captivity, so that the prophesy for the manifestation of Christ would be fulfilled.
The 2nd fulfillment of the dispersion b/c of their disobedience occurred with the destruction of Jerusalem, Judea and the temple in AD 70, and it was the last & final dispersion as God no longer needed that land, nor that temple. When Christ became the Lamb slain, the Mosaic sacrificial temple system became profane. Those who rejected Him as the Son of YHVH were judged and punished and cast out.
God had divorced them (Isa. 51:1; Jer. 3:8; Ezek. 36:17-19), and put them away. That promise of the land of Canaan was fulfilled in the OT (Josh 21:43-45) “all came to pass”. That promise is not future, it is completed prophesy.
But what marvelous rationalization that the so-called “Jews” in that “state of Israel” (which the Rothschilds created in 1948) use to justify their statements. They call on a completed prophesy of God from His word as their basis for repopulating a stolen land area, & then decry and dismiss His word in all other respects. They say He promised them the land, but then say His word is only a story, a fairy tale. They do not want to abide in His word, they only pick & choose verses that support a political stand, and discard the rest.
They are NOT the chosen of God as that definition changed under the gospel of Christ. Gal. 3:29, "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." Today, all who are in Christ are the Israel of God. They are the true seed of Abraham.
