I watched a youtube vid about this, probably the same one, and my observation was the same as I posted here.

You can call me whatever you want.

  1. He fired Tillerson the same way he fired Comey, by surprise, when out of the office. Doesn't want Tillerson using access to cover his tracks. But not sure, because I read Tillerson will still be working there for a few days.

  1. Firing may have come right after Tillerson made the comment about the nerve gas being Russian. I thought that was an inappropriate comment by Tillerson. Russia was offing a turncoat agent of theirs, and we don't need to step into what's basically an internal Russian affair. Seems like bad etiquette to me, and if Tillerson doesn't sense that, he's out of his depth as SOS. Or, maybe, carrying a different agenda.

He basically did. He was "asked to step down", he asked if the news could be held until he got back to the states, he made a somewhat insulting (to Africa) excuse about getting food poisoning, and the news was not announced til he was back here.
