WNYC's The Take Away tag teaming with New York Times today on forcing diversity into communities that don't want it. Here are the main points:

-Housing is a human right

-People should have the right to live where they want to regardless of income

-Poor people keep getting pushed around, pushed into ghettos then pushed out as the ghettos gentrify

-The American dream is to live in a mixed community with mixed races, and low, middle and upper incomes

-Local control of building ordinances needs to be overruled by federal requirements that force communities to accept high density low income housing.

>>6569931 Easy to agree with Jimmy's antiwar stance, but the rest of his ideas will blow the county up faster than good old Hil.

More interesting is that beyond his internet reach, his platform is comedy clubs. The progressive cause is based in snarky comedy.
