The whole Bronfman thing is a rabbit hole of amazing proportions. Their financial empire grew out prohibition (similar to a certain political family from Massachusetts). They parlayed that into a significant stake in DuPont, tripling their money in the process. From there they were even more successful.

Weird as shit that young Sam, first-born and one-time heir to his father’s throne, likely staged his own kidnapping in the early 1970s for a $2.3 million ransom. It is likely that one of the kidnappers was Sam’s gay lover. Sam went on to marry in 1976 a woman he met at Williams college. Not much news on her except she died of breast cancer.

Meanwhile, Edgar Jr. (the second born) took over daddy’s reins at Seagram.

Cindy [NoName] was formerly Cindy Hensley. Hensley & Co., also known as Hensley Beverage Company, is an Anheuser-Busch beer distributor.

With a net worth well north of a quarter billion, there's no wonder NoName offed himself. If you're guilty of treason your assets can be seized. If you're dead your estate is left intact.

Suicide weekend indeed.
