I think it was real enough - she feels rejected, and so she is. May is one of those awful, bossy women who think they know what's best for you and she'll give it to you whether you like it or not. Far too many of that type enter politics - I wish they wouldn't - it's the last place they should be. I much prefer the reluctant politicians who are more or less dragged from a successful career to serve their country and its people out of a sense of duty, not a desire for power so they can dictate how others should live, think, feel and act.
