Here's my analysis on the T-Rex "firing". SecState Tillerson, prior to departing for Africa, gave a speech at a Washington DC-area college, George Mason University. He laid out, what seemed to me, not just a feel good speech for dumbass college students, but an actual strategic vision statement for the US's future Africa policy.

Three points that stood out:

1) The US will continue to train local African militaries to stabilize and secure their own countries. Security leads to

2) A stable country and the environment conducive to economic growth. The era of dependency on US aid is over; administratively-trained Africans running their own institutions will grow state capacity (and hopefully reduced corruption), ensuring African sovereignty. Sec. Tillerson is creating the space for growing inter-African trade, which will open up new markets and opportunities for Americans to do business (very Trump-like).

3) I was wondering if Sec. Tillerson would mention it, but he did. Reading between the lines of the entire speech, he spelled it out clearly near the end of the speech that this strategy stands in stark contrast to China's African economic strategy, where they just ship Chinese workers to build infrastructure, etc. We're going to help Africans help themselves, so they can be the masters of their own destinies, not dependent on foreign nations anymore.

I think we are witnessing the beginning of new Scramble for Africa. But why "firing" is in quotation marks at the beginning is due to the Q and A session that took place after the speech with the GMU school president. Sec. Tillerson seemed tired and retrospective. He mentioned his draft lottery number for Vietnam never came up, although it was close. His daddy was a WWII vet, and his uncle a 4 tour Vietnam veteran. He said when President Trump approached him for the job, he was close to mandatory retirement at ExxonMobil, but he still wanted to serve his nation. Summing up why T. Rex agreed to the South position: Guilt of not being drafted, and wanting to do his part.

To answer why I think T. Rex was not fired, but rather it was a coordinated and mutual seperation, ask yourself why did he give a speech to a college before heading out on his African tour? Why was he "fired" while in Africa? Legacy. He'll be remembered for being shitcanned overseas. Tillerson was brought on to fulfill specific tasks, and his magnum opus in foreign policy is Africa. The speech was given to secure his place in history and the National Archives. We seem to be entering tbe next phase of President Trump's national grand strategy, and T. Rex was allowed to retire.

Think about it, Q mentioned a cure for AIDS has been held back by pharmaceutical companies. Africa has been hit super hard by it. Getting mega corporations to comply is easy if you can dangle new revenue streams in their faces. The new Africa policy is a win-win for Patriots and Africans. Freedom from a certain death sentence, countering predatory China, the lifting up of an entire continent and the creation of new markets for wealth generation, if the strategy succeeds then Secretary Tillerson will truly go down as one of America's greatest statesmen.
