Thanks for posting this. What's going on in education has nothing to do with learning to think or to prosper in a modern society. Gatto is one of the warriors trying to explain the long range plan for American schools and what we need to do to kick the DS out of the schooling business.
Education is top priority for anyone with children in their lives. It's becoming a priority for everyone, tho, now that they see what happens in colleges when indoctrinated children arrive there for more advanced forms of brainwashing.
