"CUMBERLAND, Md. (WJZ) — "Seventeen people were arrested and charged in connection with a drug trafficking ring in Allegany County and surrounding areas. The ring allegedly distributed fentanyl, heroin and cocaine.

The organization was busted by Maryland State Police’s Heroin Investigative Unit and Allegany County Narcotics Task Force earlier this month after authorities began looking into the group in 2018.

John James Howard, 33, of Baltimore was identified as the leader of the illegal drug network. Howard faces 109 drug-related charges after a grand jury returned an indictment against him on May 15."

"A federal grand jury in Pittsburgh indicted 17 people in four states on charges of violating federal narcotics, money laundering and postal laws, U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady announced Friday. The three separate, but related, indictments were returned on May 8 and unsealed this week.

“This is one of the largest cocaine distribution rings in western Pennsylvania,” Brady said. “Together with our state and local law enforcement partners, we conducted an extensive investigation of this multi-state drug distribution network.”"

Apparently what Horowitz needs are FBI documents that have not been available. While Barr can directly order them turned over, DiGenova basically said it would delay things further, so the Horowitz report would be released at a later time.
