Suitcase Detonated in Lyon Had Remote Control System - Reports

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The suitcase that exploded near a bakery in the French city of Lyon on Friday had a remote control system, local media reported on Saturday, citing sources close to investigators.

According to the BFMTV channel, the detonated bag contained flechettes and a remote control system.

he explosion broke out in downtown Lyon, at the intersection of Victor Hugo Street and Sala Street, near Bellecour Square, one of the city's attractions. As shown by CCTV cameras, a man, aged 30-35, rode a bicycle to the bakery and set aside a bundle, which subsequently exploded. The law enforcement forces failed to idenify the person responsible for the attack despite having the CCTV footage as the perpetrator was wearing sunglasses and a cap. The police are now searching for the suspect who is still on the loose, according to French anti-terrorism prosecutor.

Google Stored G Suite Users' Passwords in Plain-Text for 14 Years

After Facebook and Twitter, Google becomes the latest technology giant to have accidentally stored its users' passwords unprotected in plaintext on its servers—meaning any Google employee who has access to the servers could have read them.

In a blog post published Tuesday, Google revealed that its G Suite platform mistakenly stored unhashed passwords of some of its enterprise users on internal servers in plaintext for 14 years because of a bug in the password recovery feature.

G Suite, formerly known as Google Apps, is a collection of cloud computing, productivity, and collaboration tools that have been designed for corporate users with email hosting for their businesses.

It's basically a business version of everything Google offers.

The flaw, which has now been patched, resided in the password recovery mechanism for G Suite customers that allows enterprise administrators to upload or manually set passwords for any user of their domain without actually knowing their previous passwords in order to help businesses with on-boarding employees and for account recovery.

If the admins did reset, the admin console would store a copy of those passwords in plain text instead of encrypting them, Google revealed.

The chancellor of the Big Apple’s schools stands accused of creating an atmosphere “which is hostile toward whites,” according to city Department of Education insiders.

A quartet of veteran DOE white female executives is set to sue the city due to Chancellor Richard Carranza’s “sweeping reorganization” which “pushed aside” Caucasians.

According to the New York Post, Carranza’s reforms allegedly favored less qualified minorities over experienced whites. A source told the Post that “There’s a toxic whiteness concept going on […] decisions are being made because DOE leadership believes that skin color plays a role in how to get equity — that white people can’t convey the message.”

Sources claim that under Carranza, whites have been told “they must give up power or lose responsibilities no matter how well they have performed.”

Bush managed to edge out Vice President Al Gore in 2000 (though Bush handily beat John Kerry four years later).

Here’s how it works: States that approve NPVC legislation assign all of their state’s electoral votes to the presidential candidate who gets a majority vote in the general election. That means even if your state supports one candidate, if he/she did not win a majority nationwide, then your state’s electoral votes won’t go to the candidate voters picked, they’ll go to the other candidate.

That means just a few large states — California, Texas, New York, Florida, and Illinois — could literally decide all presidential elections for the foreseeable future, at least until demographics and populations change.

Former Obama CIA Director John Brennan continued his public meltdown on Friday on MSNBC.

President Trump released a statement on Thursday night ordering declassification of the intelligence related to the spying on the Trump Campaign in 2016.

Brennan was triggered after the news broke and lashed out at the president.
