>The numbers had dropped precipitously from the high of more than 980,000 reported missing in 1997 to less than 628,000 in 2013, but then started to pick up again—until the drop in 2018.

So up to nearly a million people can disappear in a given year? I've never known of anyone to disappear unless they wanted to. If a person disappeared in my (admittedly small) town, it would be all hands on deck until they were found. Can't reconcile this.

>The Biggest American Companies Now Owned by the Chinese

They are seeking hegemony over the world. Xi just committed China to world domination by invoking "The Long March" v2. I hope there are some serious eyes on this.

> Soybean, sugar and corn farmers seem to be the most entitled and yet they grow shit that kills us. I wish they were all like ranchers.

It's the agribusiness giants pushing the GMO debacle. Small farmers are being forced to bend to competition with unfair trade practices and the larger family owned operations have been targets of forced buy-outs for generations now. Ranchers don't have the same type of pressure on their business models, though larger operations still have to feed cheap GMO grains in finishing (feedlots).

>Why did America stop supporting him..

As a kid, I remember daily news reports of the reds shelling Quemoy and Matsu.

I always thought we could have nipped red China in the bud if we would have used our still substantial military to intervene. Perhaps the Korean War was to discourage and exhaust the American people from what directly engaging those who would become our existential enemies decades later. Part of (((their))) plan?

There was also the aura of corruption and venality associated with them, particularly Madam Chiang.

>Very True! But, there are viable solutions.

Yup, we know. Been running a sustainable operation for nearly 40 years. My only concession is that I have to spray (2-4-D) for broadleaves or the county will do it for me. And the sad truth is, you just can't mow the whole world.

>"fly over country."

Farmers were the original "hackers". Show me the best engineered product in the world, and I'll show you a farmer who can get it apart, fix it, or improve it. Cheap.
