Accounts of places of worship that are safer for children.
Thought I’d share these:
credible 1st hand report: At a local (Texas) hispanic Catholic Church, a guest leader from Europe (bishop perhaps?) instructed parents of a congregation to NEVER leave children alone at the church.
I know some of you will respond saying how this confirms the risks we here know about. But, for me, this is actually more of an indication that we are making progress to protect the children.
In related reports, I hear that at the Buddhist temples, one on one time with leaders and children is strictly forbidden.
And for my first hand account, I trained for a hall monitor type role at my local church. We were shown every dark corner of the facility where any occupation is strictly forbidden. At this place of worship, 1 on 1 with any child is grounds for GTFO. Interestingly this followed the sudden and unexpected resignation of the previous pastor and a complete change of 501c3 for the facility.
Progress anons. Progress.
