So people are fools because they do not interpret the bible the same way you do? Sounds a bit judgmental. I always thought that biblical insights were revealed to each individual accordingly. Didn't know it was all based on your standard. Thanks for the update.
Thanks for the further explanation. I meant no judgement towards you. I've spent many years studying the bible myself. While I understand the metaphorical meanings, I have also through the years have also seen that sometimes times passages mean literally what they say. Certainly not always but from time to I as I am revisiting different passages that I once saw only as metaphorical, I suddenly see the literal meaning I never considered before. I guess that is the beauty of the bible to me, that same passages seem to yield more meaning through the years. You know how it is when you read sometime once and get a meaning but then read again another time and find even more meaning that you saw the previous time. Anyway, these are my thoughts in this matter. Thanks for the additional clarification.
