I know this is a subject prone to sliding, also one prone to division. Neither are my intention. I humbly propose that there exists a strong possibility that Bluebeam is(was) a real plan AND one where ETI exists in reality. They're not mutually exclusive propositions. Bluebeam is no longer feasible - too many people know about it/would suspect it if they tried it. But that doesn't immediately rule out a reality wherein ETI exists.
It's the same (imo) with the debate between ETI or demons. Both constructs are simultaneously possible, neither are mutually exclusive so long as you're not a fundamentalist (which is your right to be).
IMO there is solid evidence that the SSPs exist. We can debate over how advanced they are, or where their tech comes from - but the evidence is abundant. Personally, I am someone of faith and have found God/demons/angels to also be real - or at least possible.
Duality to me is the trap we have to avoid. The truth is bigger than we can ever imagine to paraphrase Q.
I don't mean to come off as definitive or goading, but I believe that this eventually will become a serious part of the Q conversation.
More than open to being wrong though, I personally operate with only one "belief", and that's simply that I believe I do not know everything.
