absolutely not. the point is to shut them up for good, not deliver justice. they knew too much.
it sends a pretty strong message imo for the following reasons:

you know what we did and you didn't have anything to do with it so your time is up (join us or die)

our power is so great that we can convince your families, friends, and the world that you killed yourself, even though you were connected to us. (no one would believe you anyway)

evn if someone believed we had something to do with your death,
they are too scared to say it because of reasons 1&2.
