Another German here:
All the big parties only exchanged votes.
The Social Democrats lost the most votes, Merkel's party lost some votes, allthese ex-voters, voted for the Greens.
Few voters went over to the AfD =AfD gained 3.5%.
Nothing changed in the minds of the German voters, who are heavily influenced, by church, MSM, state tv, stars & starlets and unions.
No hope for a change in German hearts and minds.
The people just do not understand, what's going on.
They are sedated by propaganda, imo.
Also: The AfD is not charismatic or energising.
They are not Trump, they are no movement.
The AfD looks rather outdated/ oldfashioned to most Germans.
Most have only one priority:
To be not seen as Nazis.
This re-education for 70 years has taken its toll on the brains.
People here tend to be left-ish, because this is the only socially accepted way of 'thinking'.
