was watching a vid of a beloved famefag who is kind of a cool mentor guy for young people (I watche one where he was very happy and interviewing his cousin.)

rolling thunder is heard from a distant storm.
Crashing Thunder is heard when the storm is right there on top of you.
parts of that storm will still be far away, but you'll hear the crashes the loudest.
So if you just hear rolling thunder, the storm might be not tracking in your direction.
