Same here, normally I don't filter anymore because I skim so fast it does not matter.
But when I decide to read a bread, knocking off the 5 or so idiots with a lot of the same graphics takes no time, and makes my reading more efficient.
The people who shout the loudest telling newfags not to filter are, certainly, the shills who need to be filtered - I almost always filter them just as a matter of principle.
