Was wondering if anyone here knew about Flag Protocol. I've always thought that the US Flag, when displayed, even in other countries, is to NEVER be dipped.

It was dipped in the Ceremony in Japan along with Japan's flag.Just trying to figure out what's going on here. Both Countries shouldn't have dipped their flags here, unless, it's a symbol of being Allies? Just not sure why they're both dipped here

I've done some research on it and it seems the practice of "Never Dipping" started during the 1912 Olympics. I've always thought (learned in the Army) that the US Flag is to NEVER be dipped. Not even in other countries. The photo in question here just struck me as odd.

He also did a Sabre Dance in Saudi Arabia back in 2017. The significance of the Sabre Dance is "Going to Battle" or "Getting ready for Battle". Also, when he was in Saudi Arabia, the MSM made a big deal out of POTUS touching the Globe

Yes, but Flag Protocol doesn't allow for that either. The thing that stands out the most here is that both flags are equally dipping. That's why I wonder if this is significant.
