On Comey's personal metaphor for the DoJ:
"The danger is that one hole in the dam [of the reservoir of trust and credibility filled over decades underlying the DoJ] can drain the entire thing."
More than any other of the senior skinks in the DoJ and FBI complicit in the attempted coup d'etat against a sitting President, how fitting is it that James Comey will go down in history as the "hole" who succeeded in draining both of these institutions.
Perhaps it is with this in mind that Trey Gowdy's remark that "history will be kinder to James Comey" makes any sense as Comey will be remembered as the one responsible for draining the Deep State infested Swamps of the DoJ and FBI. After watching this creep for over three years now, I wouldn't put it past him taking credit for the ongoing fumigation and restoration at these institutions. It also wouldn't be a surprise to learn that he has flipped and is providing all the evidence needed to drain the Swamp.
