This subject is so important!! People pee out the pharmaceuticals they ingest. When a human being takes a pharmaceutical or when our livestock are dosed on them there are many potential "downstream" effects. I have joked that when a woman takes birth control pills the pharmaceutical company should be obliged to install "scrubbers" on her toilet waste water. How do we know what ALL the chemicals including pharmaceuticals, pesticides, cleaning agents, etc are doing to other people and to wildlife? Answer: We don't! A recent study has shown that one chemical (I think it was PFOA, but I will need to dig for the sauce) causes males exposed in utero to have significantly smaller genitals!! There should be no new chemical approvals world-wide for at least 80,000 factorial years (assuming about 80,000 chemicals are in our environment now) Haha. Sort of kidding, sort of not.
