believe it or not giving up smoking is easy. If you can do it for 4 weeks it's home free. I've done it, because I was broke. I cant afford cigs anymore.
Booze is another thing that was easy to give up. Same reason. I can't afford booze. I am not an alkie though.
Dieting is a whole other issue. With dieting you fight your body that wants to stay at where it is.
Advice here on dieting is slow and steady wins that race. use portions. Nothing wrong with bread, but eat better bread. Measure everything. Drink lots of water. If you are morbidly obese, you need to start moving. Do it in small bits of time. DO NOT STARVE yourself. East 5 SMALL meals and not 3 big ones. Dieting is teh worst thing I've ever done, and I have yet to make weight loss permanent. We are hard wired to like stuff that is "bad" for us. Don't fall for the speed up the metabolism shit, that crap never worked with me, and break out if I sweat. Don't take pills- that shit dont work either. Bottom line you must burn more than you consume.
