Even most FI cars couldn't be easily hacked until CAN. They'd have to get into the car and swap out the ROM.
Pretty much only China and Taiwan are making computers now. Until about last decade there were some MIJ Toshibas and Fujitsus, but that's about it. And they probably even used some Chinese parts. And US made computers? Kek, that's a good one.
