I went hard core AA back in 1991…big book, chips…speaking at meetings from Malibu to OC. Was at a meeting one night…I think it was a Wednesday…and as I was sitting there listening to the meeting…it was clear as a bell…I heard God say: "look around and tell me what you see", so, I looked around and quietly replied: "well God, there's a lot of people here"! Then God repeated the question: "look around and tell me what you see"! So, I looked around again and said: "well…there's a lot of people here…some are using and drinking and some aren't"! And then God said: "Yes, but ALL of them are still under the BONDAGE of drugs and alcohol"!

 

I FULLY understood what God was telling me…and that was the last AA meeting I ever went to!

 

God Delivers…completely!

 

Most AA / NA worshipers hate that story, but it's a true story! According to the world I had the "disease" of alcoholism and it was "something I could never be free of"! Alcoholism / Drug addiction IS NOT a "Disease" …it IS Sin!

 

God did the work when I turned my life over to Him, and I've never been under the bondage of drugs or alcohol since!

 

Bill W had THE SAME kind of experience I did…but over time, people turned AA / NA into a RELIGION in and of itself…AND IT IS POWERLESS! All worshiping AA or NA are STILL under bondage!

 

Free yourself…Surrender to God and go with God ON HIS TERMS!

Yeah! God is AMAZING! Most of our problems with God has to do with the fact that HE IS God! Thus ALL is on His terms! I've spent MANY years trying to get God to bless my will…oh, I've been very sophisticated about it…I'd never SAY that, that is what I was doing…but nothing can change The Truth about anything!

 

Trips me out that God Is Good!

AA / NA has become a distorted religion that keeps people from actually focusing on God…which is what all 'Religion' is designed to do…supplant a RELATIONSHIP with God with religion…any religion!

Hey brother…the alcohol / drugs aren't the hard thing…the hard thing is dying to self and TRUSTING God! I admit that MANY days, I don't want His will…I wan't my will…but that's not how it works! Also…it's amazing how far I'll TRY to go to avoid pain…especially the pain of denying myself…BUT…God WILL deliver you IF you surrender to Him! There will be pain…but it's all about going THROUGH the pain (fire)…He WILL be in the fire with you! Go for it…I'll be praying for you! BELIEVE! It's impossible to please Him without faith!

I hear you brother…and I "preach" the point with serious consideration in my heart…but did you hear the story that Mother Theresa "helped a hindu die like a good hindu"? If it's true…she certainly didn't do him any favors!
