Request for information
Anons, since it seems like the storm is drawing near, it's made me think about my own plans for when it happens. I have some ideas about what I should do, but I would appreciate perspectives from fellow anons about things. Here are some questions I ask:
-
"Net pause" - Presuming that the net does become "paused", what do you consider to be viable available sources of information during that time? What do you think the effects will be on daily routines/work activities?
-
"FF Events/Riots" - What do you consider to be the best ways of coping/helping others cope with these events in your community, if it occurs? What do you think is the best approach to dealing with it (i.e. "fort up at home," "bug out," etc.). I know that this will vary by your kind of community and I'm not asking anyone to dox. I live in a sizeable metro area, myself, I know that rural areas would be different but still potentially helpful info.
-
What do you consider to be best practices in dealing with loved ones who are reluctant to accept information that skews their own understanding? What to avoid?
-
What do you think the best ways of communicating with distant loved ones may be (particularly those who are not currently "woke" to the situation)?
-
If a loved one is not in the same area as you if/when things go bad, what do you perceive to be the best practices in aiding the love one to safety (prior planning or during the event, all suggestions welcome).
There may be other questions besides these that other anons are thinking about, I hope frens will feel free to chime in with their own. If I think I have a useful suggestion to make, I'll make it. For right now, I would just like to hear other perspectives and hope that I (and others) can glean some info that will help improve preparedness.
Blessings, anons. Hope your Memorial Day was enjoyable.
