There were arrests in a large-scale police operation in downtown Frankfurt. Before, shots were fired at the Konstablerwache.
"We are on the ground with numerous forces," the police wrote at 7:45 pm on Twitter. There were shots fired, but the dead did not exist. The officials arrested people, details are still unclear.
The law enforcement officers had previously called on Twitter to avoid the Konstablerwache in the pedestrian zone. The area was closed off large-scale.

The tram traffic was temporarily interrupted. Affected were the tram lines 12, 14 and 18. It came to schedule deviations and interruptions. The traffic company Frankfurt (VGF) reported around 20 clock, the disturbance is no longer exist.
Side streets were blocked around the Konstablerwache
