This is reminding me of when I was watching the Katrina debacle unfold on TV. I kept asking myself, "Why aren't they helping these people?" Somewhere around the third day it hit me. They're black.
Whether it's because they're feeding racism, or they have to discredit yet another black man, or they need to pick on someone, maybe some mix of all that, maybe because they know they're on the way out the door, you can be sure it's because he's black.
