The way I handle it is to work continuously toward the goal, by making and harvesting memes and preparing the cache of meme ammo for our twatter artillery to use. By making the meme archive searchable.

Sometimes I take a break and go outside and do some yard work or hang out with a pet for a while or do a bit of housework.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Dig, meme, pray.

But then I've been around the block a few more times than most. You learn patience when you realize there's no other option. Only way forward is to dig in and continue producing something useful.
