Organic or engineered by what's left of the DS?

I'm sure I'm not alone when I look at the sad state of the breads of late. Same shit habbening on twatter, but not nearly as bad.

I have two theories: The obvious one is that we're over the target and the DS is flinging feces like angry monkeys caged in a zoo. The second one is that we all know how the movie ends, we've "read the book", we know all the actors and we're just milling about the lobby waiting for some folks to start cheering inside the movie theater (so we can rush in with fresh popcorn and settle in).

Any thoughts on which is closest to being accurate?
