Another typical Christian delusional spewing. Jesus said in Matthew 16:27 YOU WILL BE JUDGED BY YOUR WORKS and righteousness - not by some lunacy called "faith in Jesus Christ".
In Revelation - 70 years after Jesus death, Jesus through the angel tells us he will judge all mankind BY THEIR WORKS.
So I am working on my repentence and my righteousness by keeping God's Laws/ You think somehow you are cloaked to sin. You and others like you are in for a rude awakening one day.
I KNEW you were going to quote that as do all Christians. AGAIN, Jesus says you WILL be judged by your works and so does John. Why do think Paul is correct too? Who is Paul to change the words of Jesus or John?
Let me explain what Paul is saying to you and you other Christians here…Paul tells you in Acts 24:14 he beleive in the WRITTEN Word of God and the prophets. Paul says in Romans 6:1 "Shall we sin since grace abound? Let it not be so".
So what is Paul saying there that you erroneously hang your hat on AND you salvation…Paul is talking about "works of law" which is Judaism, or the oral law, or the traditions of the elders as Jesus called it at that time.
Paul explains that the Jews wrote all kinds of laws which were OVER AND ABOVE Moses' Law. When they do this they violate Deut 4:@ by adding to the Law. Paul LEFT doing Rabbinical law to go back to the written TORAH LAW. This is what you folks do not get since you do not understand Judaism and the Written LAw. They are not the same thing.
Paul in Collisians 2:14 says Jesus hanged the handwriting of ordinances that were against us. What that means is Jesus said DO NOT DO JEWISH law that is against the Law followers like Paul.
In Romans 7, Galatians, 2 and 3, Ephesians 2, PAUL IS NOT TALKING ABOUT TORAH Law. He is talking about religious law. - works of law - religion.
WE are COMMANDED BY JESUS to follow the Law. If you do not have the Law as your basis for morality what do you have? Man's civil law?

No - what the bible is saying is Jesus PAID THE PENALTY of sin. What was the penalty at the ultimate level? The need to sacrifice an animal and shed the blood. That goes all the way back to Exodus around 20 or so.
At hsi death he took over the atonement for sin, but that was impossible since Levi had to do this. Now Judah is doing this. and as Paul explains this can only happen after Jesus' death (Hebrews 4-10). This new covenant is simply a different way to atone sin - not by killing Bambi bot by praying to Jesus directly.
And no man dies and goes to heaven or hell. That is not biblical. It is Christian crap. Even Jesus said this…
