In Matthew 12:34 - Here Jesus is insulting the Sadducees & Pharisees, but he’s actually giving them a metaphor, specifically the viper.
The viper is aggressive, poisonous, deadly and ugly. Vipers have forked tongues and venomous fangs. They aggressively attack and poison victims and they don’t let go. Their poisonous bites often lead to painful deaths.

In Matthew 3:7 John the Baptist tells the Sadducees & Pharisees that they had become corrupt, legalistic, immoral and hypocritical and would eventually be responsible for crucifying the Son of God. He uses the viper metaphor to describe their collective behavior.

When Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and put them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened on his hand.

At first the people around Paul thought he was a murder because the snake bit him. The viper was symbolic for murder. When Paul was not affected by the snakes poison, the people thought Paul was a god, until he corrected them.
They metaphorical meaning of the viper, holds true in each scenario.

In John 8:53-56, Jesus is once again talking being hounded by the Pharisees & Sadducees.

Who does Jesus consider the “offspring of God?”

Satan's seed are those who do Satan's will in rebellion against God.
In Ephesians 6:10-12, Paul writes of this enmity between seeds:

I recommended Dr. Heiser due to the fact that he is one of the rare “scholars” that put his work out to the public, instead of hiding behind locked University office.
He makes short concise videos that cut the fake bs, being passed around as fact. I highly recommended his work.
